Male Factor Infertility and Semen Analysis among Infertile Male Subjects

Background: The prevalence of infertility in the general population is 15% -20%,of this male factor responsible for 20%-40%. Semen analysis an indispensable diagnostic tool evaluation partner infertile couple.Every single couple out 10 search medical care because infertility. Men older than 40 years and Women 30 are at increased risk So objective present study was to see different factors sperm count infertility.
 Materials methods: Current cross sectional observational design figure existence, problems causes, associated with among 120 subjects done during two period from January 2018 December 2020 a Teriarty Medical College some private chambers Bangladesh. After consent health data were recorded semen For purpose, survey has been conducted hospitals selected further studies.Semen sample analyzed by manual method. Ethical clearance taken hospital authorities conduct study
 Results: Among 76(63.3%) age group 31-40 44(36.7%) 41 50 years. Different occupations revealed 42(35.0%) banker, 37(30%) doing business 41(34.2%) involved other services. Regarding comorbidities, HTN 18(15%), 3(2.5%) had bronchial asthma, 3(2.5% DM, DM 90(75%) none 54(45%) smoker. Sperm 50(41.7%) asthenozoospermia, 12(10%) Asthenozoospermia +Teratospermia, 16 (13.3%) oligopsermia, 17(14.2%) Oligospermia+ 8(6.7%) Oligospermia +Teratospermia teratospermia. 23(19.2%) <10 million/ml, 18(15%) 11-20 21-30 15(12.5%) 9(7.5%) 41-50 million/ ml, 13(10.8%) 51-60 million/ml 24(20%) >60 million/ml.
 Conclusion: It concluded that independent on but excessive use tobacco, sedentary life style like Banking , stress or psychological disturbances might provoke issues JCMCTA 2021 ; 32 (2) : 75-78
